Summer Reading Club

Why you should participate
Research indicates that when children put down the books for summer break, often their reading ability decreases. Teachers frequently report that students return in January with a lower reading level and interest in books, than when they left in December.
The Summer Reading Club encourages reading over the summer holidays, use of library spaces, resources and collections to enrich the lives of children, young people and families.
With sponsorship from Bulga Coal, Singleton Library Summer Reading Club participants have the chance to fabulous prizes.
