- Broke Fordwich
Nestled at the foothills of the Brokenback Range in the shadow of the majestic Yellow Rock escarpment, Broke Fordwich has a rustic charm and is the perfect destination for a relaxing rural retreat. The hamlet is peppered with boutique and biodynamic vineyards, olive groves, restaurants and cosy accommodation. It’s a short drive that sometimes flies under visitors radar, but well worth it.
This is where locals go to chill out and relax. It’s home to the largest organic vineyard in the Hunter, a chef’s hatted restaurant, significant aboriginal history, stunning scenery, sprawling olive groves and hands-on, award-winning winemakers. And peace and quiet. Lots and lots of peace and quiet.
