The NSW Office of Emergency Management has provided a range of information and assistance for people affected by bushfires. These are aimed at providing for immediate and short-term needs, to support recovery from the bushfires across NSW.

PROVIDING SUPPORT
As communities in Australia experience devastating bushfires, there are a number of ways to assist including supporting the Singleton branch of the Australian Red Cross by purchasing a Wish gift card and dropping it into the Singleton Argus office. 

Alternatively, you can also support a number of organisations who are on the ground providing assistance to people including:

Donations may be made at www.redcross.org.au; call 1800 733 276 during business hours; or at Commonwealth Bank branches

The Salvation Army

Donations may be made at www.salvationarmy.org.au; call 13 72 58; or at Woolworths checkouts

To donate to the NSW Rural Fire Service or your local brigade, click here or make a direct deposit to the NSW Rural Fire Service, Westpac BSB 032-001, Account No 171051. You can also post a cheque or money order to NSW Rural Fire Service, Locked Bag 17, Granville NSW 2142.
